Gardiner in Sequim WA. Antique and Artifacts Auction
Welcome back for a grand auction in Gardiner, a little town just outside of Sequim WA.
This sale combines items from two exceptional women: one a woman of personal strength and pioneering spirit, the other a lifelong admirer of the Chinese culture with a flair for interior decorating. There are household items a family in China sold to raise money in order to escape the 1937 Japanese invasion along with Asian fabric, dish ware, and décor pieces acquired over the years. Also included are an eclectic collection of framed artwork and prints, Native American rugs, household, kitchen, and furniture items from early to late 20th century America, and other lovely things reflecting their owner’s refined tastes. Some of the older artifacts may require delicate handling and restoration as they have been stored for decades.
This is a soft close auction, 2 minutes is added to the clock if there are two or more active bidders within the last 2 minutes of each lot closing. 8.8% sales tax is added to your invoice unless you have an active resellers permit on file. In addition to sales tax there is also a 10% buyers premium added to your invoice total.
Pick ups will be by appointment only Sept. 18th and 19th from 10-3:00. Seattle pick up for small items only and by request only. Seattle buyers who do not wish to make the drive to Sequim can request pick ups in Burien prior to auction closing. This for small items only and subject to car space.
