Description :
OK, right up front we are going to say that we don't know if these items work; if you decide to bid on them you take the chance that they don't (we normally like to make sure electronics work but could not text these as noted below). The TrueTone D-2563 red superheterodyne radio receiver from Western Auto dates from the mid-1950s. It also appears to be in great condition - however, when we plugged it in, we got no static or reaction of any kind. Since this is a tube radio, perhaps that's the issue (it has 5 tubes). Perfect for you electronics geeks out there to go to work on. The case appears to be a Bakelite (early plastic) and the trim is brass. Measures approx. 6" H x 9.5" W x 4" D. The Sony Walkman WM-7 appears to be in good condition; cassette tapes pop in & out & it comes with the original zip case. Unfortunately, we could not find an adapter to charge this and there doesn't appear to be a battery compartment like the Walkmans we remember. This particular model was the first to have that fabulous invention - autoreverse! No removing the cassette & turning it over! If this works, it's worth a bit of cash - apparently folks are rediscovering cassette tapes just like they are vinyl....
