Description :
Lots of love (and humor) here! 4 Constance Bannister photo books that were immensely popular in the 1960s. Published by Esandess & Pocket Books. All in good used condition with the 3rd one having one page loose. Titles are: - Infernal Revenue (babies commenting of taxes and the IRS) - It's a Riot to Diet (babies making rude remarks about weight and eating) - From the Back of the Incubator (babies making rather stereotyped comments re: civil rights and Black tropes of the 1960s - note that it appears all the babies in this book are Black, but it still evokes a bit of "ick" in terms of stereotypes with today's sensibilities. We think the "back of the incubator" was a very intentional title) - The Organization Baby (babies making comments as if they are at the office/working a job) Classic "I Love You This Much" porcelain figurine we think EVERYONE had in the 1960s except for us! Measures approx. 5" H. From Chadwick Company. Pair of blue & pink plastic "Love" keyrings with phrases that can be innocent or have innuendo depending upon your personal take. Same image on front and back. Riot
