Description :

Two vintage lamps with a floral theme - both electric with 2-prong plug. Both are in working order.

Victorian style globe lamp resembles an oil lamp but doesn't appear to be a conversion to electric from what we see. Milk glass shade & base are hand-painted directly on the glass - notice there is some loss of the painting on the base, but the glass itself is in good shape. We don't think the globe is original to this base although it fits perfectly (the painting styles and color schemes don't pair all that well). While the lamp is perfectly operational as is, if it were ours, we would strip the paint off the globe and base and use it as a solid white milk glass lamp with no embellishment - the shape is wonderful. Measures approx. 16" H.

The smaller lamp has a "touch" on and off built into its base - touch once it turns on, touch again and it gets brighter, touch yet again and it gets brighter still. Touch one last time and it turns off. Has easily removeable rose motif glass panels when the disk the finial screws into is removed - easy cleaning! Shade frame and base appear to be in good vintage shape with minimal use wear.  Measures approx. 12" H.

BONUS - after we shot this lot, we found a third lamp that blended well with the globe lamp described above - in fact, we wonder if this third lamp's top shade actually belongs to the previously mentioned lamp. Please see the last photos - this third lamp base has a bottom globe that lights (socket needs securing) and a floral painted shade that fits better on the aforementioned lamp.
