Description :

A decorative grouping featuring early 20th-century Japanese export porcelain alongside a bold gold art pottery jar. The lot includes a large abstract gold lidded jar, a pair of orange dragon-decorated vases, and a Hand Painted Nippon lidded sugar bowl with floral and gilt decoration.

The dragon vases display raised enamel decoration likely influenced by Satsuma-style and dragonware ornamentation. Both vases are unmarked, which is common for decorative Japanese export pieces. The sugar bowl is the only marked piece, bearing a “Hand Painted Nippon” mark with an M-in-wreath, dating it to the Morimura export era (circa 1911–1921).
