A striking and refined Lofty crystal skeleton clock by HOYA Corporation of Japan, featuring a fully visible brass mechanical movement housed within a thick, clear crystal block. This sophisticated timepiece combines precision Japanese craftsmanship with a modern architectural presentation, making it both a functional clock and a sculptural display object. The clock face is accented with Roman numerals, black metal hands, and a gold-tone bezel, framing the exposed internal gears that showcase the intricate mechanics in motion. The crystal case is engraved in Japanese, indicating it was created as a commemorative presentation piece, dated May 30, 1989, celebrating the opening of a Seattle office.
