Description :

English Imari porcelain platter, attributed to either the Derby or the Coalport factory, produced in England in the early 19th century. Decorated in the traditional Imari palette of deep cobalt blue, iron red, and gilt, the platter features a bold central floral motif surrounded by scrolling foliage, stylized reserves, and geometric border patterns typical of English Imari production of the period.

The platter has a softly scalloped rectangular form and displays strong color contrast and balanced composition, reflecting the English interpretation of Japanese Imari export porcelain. The underside bears hand-painted blue marks consistent with early English porcelain wares from leading factories such as Derby and Coalport.

An attractive example suitable for decorative display, serving, or inclusion in an English porcelain or Imari collection.
