Description :
“Renewal” is a serene and imaginative serigraph by Pelley, blending interior still‑life elements with an expansive, dreamlike landscape. A modern room—anchored by a sleek black sofa and minimalist vases—opens seamlessly into a breathtaking alpine vista of snow‑capped mountains, evergreen forests, and a glass‑still lake. At the center of the scene floats a transparent sphere containing a small boat, a symbolic touch that suggests reflection, rebirth, and the quiet movement of the inner self. Pelley’s composition plays with boundaries between the built environment and the natural world, creating a contemplative space where calm, clarity, and escape coexist. The cool palette of blues and whites enhances the sense of tranquility, while the crisp geometry of the interior grounds the piece in contemporary design. Numbered 71/100 and signed along the lower margin, this print is a strong example of Pelley’s atmospheric, meditative style. Pelley is a contemporary artist known for blending surrealism, interior design elements, and expansive natural landscapes into cohesive, contemplative compositions. Working primarily in serigraphy and mixed media, Pelley often explores themes of refuge, renewal, and the emotional space between the physical world and the imagined one. His work frequently juxtaposes modern architectural forms with sweeping outdoor vistas, creating scenes that feel both grounded and otherworldly. Pelley’s prints are appreciated for their calm, introspective mood, clean design sensibility, and the subtle symbolic elements that invite viewers to interpret their own narratives within the work. Collected widely in contemporary print circles, Pelley’s editions are known for their craftsmanship, clarity of line, and the quiet, meditative quality that defines his visual language.Artist Bio — Pelley
