Description :
A warm, evocative vintage‑style movie poster for “Born Free” (1966), celebrating the unforgettable true story of Elsa the lioness and the couple who raised her. This decorative reprint beautifully captures the film’s blend of adventure, compassion, and African wilderness imagery. The poster features expressive illustrated portraits of the film’s stars alongside Elsa, set against a backdrop styled like an open book—symbolizing the international bestseller that inspired the film. Surrounding artwork highlights African wildlife and scenes from Elsa’s journey, reinforcing the film’s themes of freedom, trust, and the bond between humans and animals. The typography and warm color palette evoke the emotional tone of the story, described as “glowing with warmth and wonder.” Presented by Columbia Pictures and Carl Foreman Starring: Virginia McKenna Bill Travers Geoffrey Keen Based on the bestselling book by Joy Adamson Music composed and conducted by John Barry Produced by Sam Jaffe and Paul Radin Screenplay by Gerald L.
