Description :
Original watercolor by Pacific Northwest artist Jody Bergsma, featuring a wide‑eyed child in an orange dress standing beside a small white animal perched on a wicker chair. The scene is set against stylized green foliage with bright floral accents, rendered in Bergsma’s recognizable blend of gentle linework, expressive features, and warm, narrative charm. The piece is presented in a pink frame with red matting, and the artist’s signature appears along the lower edge. A delightful example of Bergsma’s early illustrative style, appealing to collectors of children’s art, regional Northwest artists, and whimsical figurative work. Artist Biography:
