**Three binders** Each binder contains **plastic archival sleeves** filled with collectible art cards. A carefully curated fantasy‑art collection, likely assembled over many years.

**Condition** The cards are inserted neatly, with no visible bending or warping. - The binders appear full, indicating a substantial collection.

**Frazetta Binder (Yellow Cards)** One binder prominently displays a set of **yellow‑bordered cards labeled “Frazetta.”**

**Characteristics** - These cards feature artwork by **Frank Frazetta**, one of the most influential fantasy and sci‑fi illustrators of the 20th century. The artwork includes: - Muscular warriors - Dramatic battle scenes - Mythical beasts - Dark, atmospheric landscapes - Frazetta’s signature style — bold anatomy, dynamic poses, and moody lighting — is clearly visible.

**Collector Significance** - Frazetta cards are highly sought after by fantasy art collectors. - The uniform set suggests it may be part of a **limited‑run series** or a **complete subset**.

**Boris 4 Binder** Boris Vallejo’s artwork is instantly recognizable: heroic anatomy, dramatic lighting, mythic creatures, and a blend of fantasy and sci‑fi energy.  An example of his cards is the **The Winged Horse & Rider ** - A dynamic winter‑fantasy scene. - A heroic figure rides a **sleigh pulled by a winged horse**, soaring through a snowy or icy environment. - The rider is muscular, dressed in fur‑lined fantasy gear, gripping reins with dramatic tension. - The horse’s wings are large and feathered, spread wide as it lifts off the ground. - The background shows swirling snow, giving the piece a sense of motion and cold atmosphere. - Classic Vallejo traits: strong anatomy, high contrast, and mythic adventure.  Vallejo often explored cosmic‑fantasy themes. Vallejo’s mastery of dramatic lighting is evident.

**Overall Impression** Boris cards showcase the full range of his fantasy style: - **Heroic anatomy** - **Mythical creatures** - **Cosmic and spiritual imagery** - **Dynamic action scenes** - **High‑contrast dramatic lighting**

**William Stout Binder** Stout collections span underground comix, pulp‑style horror, sci‑fi, and adventure genres — the kind of eclectic mix often found in 1970s–1980s independent or alternative comic collections. A description of one of his cards follows: **GROSS** - A chaotic, grotesque underground‑comix style cover. - Features exaggerated, distorted characters and surreal humor. - Bright, clashing colors — greens, yellows, reds — typical of counterculture comics. - The title “GROSS” is bold and intentionally crude, matching the irreverent tone. ** KING KONG** A dramatic pulp‑style cover featuring King Kong in a dynamic pose. - Kong may be shown roaring, climbing, or battling humans or creatures. - Strong reds, oranges, and jungle greens dominate. Classic adventure illustration reminiscent of vintage movie posters.

**Overall Impression** Underground comix - Horror and dystopian themes - Jungle and pulp adventure - Sci‑fi anthology art - Fantasy hero illustration The covers are vibrant, varied, and culturally significant — a snapshot of alternative comic art from multiple eras. The protective sleeve suggests careful preservation and collector intent.

**Jim Warren 2** Collector cards: Loose cards in protective deck cases. Two large decks.

**Common Themes** - **Warriors in armor**, often wielding swords, axes, or magical weapons. - **Mythical creatures** such as dragons, demons, griffins, and spectral beasts. - **Epic landscapes** featuring mountains, ruins, forests, and cosmic backdrops. - **Sorcerers and enchantresses**, depicted with glowing energy or spell effects.

**Art Style** - Highly detailed, painterly illustrations. - Strong use of contrast and dramatic lighting. - Many pieces resemble classic fantasy book covers or trading card art from the 1980s–1990s.

**Presentation** - Cards are arranged by artist/creator, suggesting careful curation. - Some pages appear to contain **vintage prints**, possibly from older fantasy card sets or promotional art collections.

**Overall Impression** This is a **well‑preserved, thoughtfully organized fantasy art collection**, anchored by a dedicated Frazetta section and supported by a wide range of high‑quality illustrations. The binders show: - **Collector-level care** - **A focus on iconic fantasy imagery** - **A mix of vintage and modern art styles** - **A strong emphasis on legendary artists and dramatic themes** It’s the kind of collection that would appeal to fans of fantasy illustration, trading cards, classic sci‑fi/fantasy art, or Frazetta, Stout, Warren and Boris 4 enthusiasts.
