Description :

Antique walnut wave front chest of drawers/commode with marble top from Paducah Furniture Company of Kentucky.

This is a chest of drawers with a lot of character. Client purchased it at a reputable antique store approx. 25 years ago for $5K and was told it was mid-19th century (1860s) made of American walnut. There are brass pulls, marbled wood along the front, and lots of detail including clawed feet and raised flourishes along the apron on the front and sides. The marble top is in good shape and also has rather sensuous curves. The chest has three drawers across the top level and two wide deep drawers on the lower two levels. Jointed & curved drawer construction with age showing in some places. Unfortunately, the keys to the lock have been lost over the years, but we think the keyholes add elegance. Marble top is removable to lighten the piece when transporting.  (The piece is quite heavy overall.)

Measures approx. 29.5" H x 54" W x 25" D.

Please note that this item is at a different location than the remaining items in this auction. Winning bidder & Sound Estate will find a time that 's mutually convenient for the item to be removed from a storage unit in Federal Way.
