Beautifully-made large sectional sofa with bench cushions & loose back cushions in white.

This gorgeous 2-piece sofa in pure white has bench cushions on the seat with loose cushions on the back. Each section of the sofa has fully upholstered legs (along with non-visible wooden support legs) and a low back frame which allows the cushion tops to sit above it. The quality of the upholstery is high: soft yet firm bench cushions with sewn-in D rings and clasps so they will not move out of place when sat upon; internal fill on cushions covered with Dacron wrapping to create loft, zippers so covers can be removed and cleaned, and arm protectors. There is piping around the bench cushions, but none on the back cushions which makes for non-lumpy reclining. Back is fully finished for floating the piece if desired. While the white exterior fabric gives the appearance of linen, the feel is more of a blend with some poly to it to enable better cleaning.

Each of the 2 pieces measures 25.5" H from floor to frame top, increasing to an overall 38" H when cushions are in place. Length of each is 90" while frame back to front depth is 40" with approx. 24" seat depth from front to back cushions. When both pieces are put together as pictured, the sectional measures overall 90" L on the short arm and 130" on the long arm. 

We believe this sofa is custom-made and thus doesn't have a maker mark. Although it is in very good structural shape, the sofa could use a good general going-over with an upholstery cleaning machine as there are very slight discolorations here and there - see last few photos for most egregious. They do not appear to be stains, but more like dirt inherent with rubbing a vacuum against an upholstered leg or having people sit on it repeatedly. Please note the owners did have a cat and while there is no odor, you would want to use that machine to make sure there is no hair residue (and you should always clean used furniture anyway, no?)

SPECIAL NOTICE TO FURNITURE BIDDERS: pickups for the large furniture in this auction will be by appointment from 11am - 3pm on Thursday (10/8) and from 9am - noon on Friday (10/9).

Do not sign up for a pickup time on Saturday. 

WE WILL CALL THE WINNING FURNITURE BIDDERS PERSONALLY AND ARRANGE FOR A MUTUALLY AGREEABLE TIME DURING THOSE WINDOWS OF TIME. The driveway is extremely steep and only allows for a single car/truck at a time to maneuver safely. Also be aware that there are numerous stairs at the home and most of the large furniture is up a flight of stairs. You MUST bring at least one other able-bodied person to help you - we cannot not move furniture for you. If you are unable to make these pickup times or unable to secure help, please do not bid.
