Description :

Classic dining chairs in clean white upholstery.

Chairs are solid light wood with a rustic whitewash. Legs have semi-fluted shaft and decorative floral medallion at the top. Back oval section has a very slight angle for more comfortable seat position. Upholstery has a white linen look with double piping around the edges with finished backs. Very nice upholstery workmanship overall.

Condition is very good, however as might be expected with white upholstery, there are a few small areas of slight discoloration - see last 2 photos for details of the most egregious. We believe a quick encounter with an upholstery machine would remedy these. Also note that the cambric/dustcover under one chair seat is missing; doesn't affect appearance. Because most of our client's furniture appears to be custom-made, these chairs do not have a brand label, but they were made by the Permaisuri Company.

Measure 39" H at top of back x 20" W at front of seat x 18" D from front to back of seat cushion. Seat depth is 17" with seat height 19".

SPECIAL NOTICE TO FURNITURE BIDDERS: pickups for the large furniture in this auction will be by appointment from noon - 3pm on Thursday (10/8) and from 9am - noon on Friday (10/9).

Do not sign up for a pickup time on Saturday.

WE WILL CALL THE WINNING FURNITURE BIDDERS PERSONALLY AND ARRANGE FOR A MUTUALLY AGREEABLE TIME DURING THOSE WINDOWS OF TIME. The driveway is extremely steep and only allows for a single car/truck at a time to maneuver safely. Also be aware that there are numerous stairs at the home and most of the large furniture is up a flight of stairs. You MUST bring at least one other able-bodied person to help you - we cannot not move furniture for you. If you are unable to make these pickup times or unable to secure help, please do not bid.

PAYMENT DETAILS

Placing a bid is an agreement to purchase. If you win, you must pick up your item(s). If you default on your purchase, your bidding privileges will be revoked permanently. Do not bid if you do not plan to purchase.If you bid, you MUST be available/arrange for pick-up of purchases on the pick-up date unless you have made prior shipping arrangements. Bring necessary tools and help for picking up large items. Loading assistance is NOT available. Some items may be located on a 2nd floor, out building.

Invoices are emailed to winning bidders once the sale has completely closed.Full payment must be made by 8:00 p.m. the day after auction closes. If total payment is not received before the pick-up date & time, items will be forfeited, and bidding privileges revoked.

Pick-up information will be on the invoice e-mailed after the auction closes.All items not picked up during the designated times will be considered abandoned and may be donated or resold. When possible, and at our sole discretion, an alternate pick-up time may be arranged. If this is possible, an appropriate fee will be charged.

A 12% Buyer's Premium and Sales Tax are added to the winning bid amount when invoiced. Sales tax is waived for licensed re-sellers.

We make every effort to describe lot items as accurately as possible. Expect normal signs of wear associated with antiques, vintage, and used items. We do not list every flaw.
