Description :

Because our client was in assemblage/collage artist, she collected many things from around the world to use in her art. This is a group of what appears to be handcrafted paper ephemera sourced from the UK* although we are betting original origins were in Asia given how much handwork must have been involved. This lot has all kinds of oddball things including:

Large spool of 1" wide running strip of tag paper that has been collaged front and back with various labels, travel tabs, and images. Appears to be handmade and there is A LOT of it. Perfect for scrapbooking or to use on your own collages.

Boxes from Tea Forte for English breakfast and African solstice tea.

Small empty boxes folded and collaged with various clippings, matchbox covers, etc. Note that they are slightly tacky on the back and must’ve been stuck to something previously.

Red collage travel tags all slightly different with black ribbons.

Scratch tickets for some kind of lottery or pull-tab game.

"Admit One" coupons in a roll (these are photo reproduced, not collaged).

Synthetic white netting.

9 small black boxes with covers that open on both the front and back (they are true black despite the washout in the photos). In essence they act like 2 boxes glued together with no specific front or back. Inside each of the two inside compartments is a handmade collaged accordion book featuring travel themes, maps, and diagrams glued to the pages. Each box and its interior appear to be unique. Measure just shy 7" H x 5" W x 3" D. Note that these appear to be new - we only unwrapped one for photo purposes. However, we think one box may have been slightly crushed on one cover. It will operate fine but just won't be as cosmetically pretty as the others (you could also put that side to the wall given there's no front or back).

Placing a bid is an agreement to purchase. If you win, you must pick up your item(s). If you default on your purchase, your bidding privileges will be revoked permanently. Do not bid if you do not plan to purchase.If you bid, you MUST be available/arrange for pick-up of purchases on the pick-up date unless you have made prior shipping arrangements. Bring necessary tools and help for picking up large items. Loading assistance is NOT available. Some items may be located on a 2nd floor, out building.

Invoices are emailed to winning bidders once the sale has completely closed.Full payment must be made by 8:00 p.m. the day after auction closes. If total payment is not received before the pick-up date & time, items will be forfeited, and bidding privileges revoked.

Pick-up information will be on the invoice e-mailed after the auction closes.All items not picked up during the designated times will be considered abandoned and may be donated or resold. When possible, and at our sole discretion, an alternate pick-up time may be arranged. If this is possible, an appropriate fee will be charged.

A 12% Buyer's Premium and Sales Tax are added to the winning bid amount when invoiced. Sales tax is waived for licensed re-sellers.

We make every effort to describe lot items as accurately as possible. Expect normal signs of wear associated with antiques, vintage, and used items. We do not list every flaw.
