Description :

2 pairs of rugs - not identical, but each pair would work ok together in the same room. Note that all have seen heavy use, but still have some life in them.

DARKER PAIR OF RUGS:

Larger rug has fringe at both ends and is bound on the long sides. It has a few areas of heavy wear, but only on the fringe with a spot or two along the edges. Measures 36" X 65" including fringe.

Smaller rug in a similar color way has a medallion in the middle with interesting asymmetrical shapes on either side. It is in good condition overall with slight wear on the edges. Measures 31.5" x 49" including fringe.

LIGHTER PAIR OF RUGS:

Pair of flat weave small area rugs appear to be hand-loomed and knotted.

Predominantly red rug has border design and fringe on one end. (We love the color mix that makes the rug bright and cheery.) There are a few discolorations we believe could be removed by a professional rug cleaner. If this rug were ours, we would have the fringe cut off and bound at the rug cleaners to give it a cleaner edge as it is currently a big raggedy. There are a few miscellaneous discolorations, but nothing egregious.

Second rug is just slightly larger than the first with a much more tame pattern. Border pattern surrounds the entire rug and the fringe on one short edge is in varying shades of red. It's obvious this is a hand-loomed/knotted rug given the small errors in weaving pattern here and there. Rather than be a detriment, we love that it shows human hands made this rather than a machine. Note that this rug has a pretty serious stain in one corner - see last photo - but we believe the rug cleaners could probably remove this. Measures 33” x 60” including fringe.

BONUS - after finishing photos, we found 2 more small rugs that we are adding to this group. They are in used condition but would still be functional in most instances. See second & third to last photo.

Again, all rugs in this auction are in dire need of a visit to the professional rug cleaner, but we think they are solidly made and worth the effort.

Bring necessary tools and help for picking up large items. Loading assistance is NOT available. Some items may be located on a 2nd floor, out building.

Invoices are emailed to winning bidders once the sale has completely closed.Full payment must be made by 8:00 p.m. the day after auction closes. If total payment is not received before the pick-up date & time, items will be forfeited, and bidding privileges revoked.

Pick-up information will be on the invoice e-mailed after the auction closes.All items not picked up during the designated times will be considered abandoned and may be donated or resold. When possible, and at our sole discretion, an alternate pick-up time may be arranged. If this is possible, an appropriate fee will be charged.

A 12% Buyer's Premium and Sales Tax are added to the winning bid amount when invoiced. Sales tax is waived for licensed re-sellers.
