Description :

Linen-bound hardcover book from 1915 features Rudyard Kipling's A Song of the English with blue Heath Robinson illustrations printed on cream cloth boards. Decorative motifs of military helmets, rifles, and twisting vines adorn the front cover in a classic Edwardian style. Light scuffing and faint soiling on the spine and edges lend authentic vintage character. Interior ivory pages include Kipling’s Mansion House speech on National Bands, printed in clear black type.

Cloth-bound hardcover of A Song of the English by Rudyard Kipling presents early 20th-century Art Nouveau–inspired blue line illustrations by W. Heath Robinson on a cream cover, reprinted from 'The Seven Seas' with publisher’s acknowledgement to Messrs Methuen & Co as a separate volume. Published on behalf of The Daily Telegraph National Bands Fund, the volume includes Kipling’s 1915 Mansion House speech on National Bands printed on fine, lightly toned paper with minimal shelf wear.

Invoices are emailed to winning bidders once the sale has completely closed.Full payment must be made by 8:00 p.m. the day after auction closes. If total payment is not received before the pick-up date & time, items will be forfeited, and bidding privileges revoked.

Pick-up information will be on the invoice e-mailed after the auction closes.All items not picked up during the designated times will be considered abandoned and may be donated or resold. When possible, and at our sole discretion, an alternate pick-up time may be arranged. If this is possible, an appropriate fee will be charged.

A 10% Buyer's Premium and Sales Tax are added to the winning bid amount when invoiced. Sales tax is waived for licensed re-sellers.
