Highlights

• Style: A host's toolkit for big holiday meals and backyard gatherings
• Frees Up the Oven: Fry the turkey indoors, keep sides warm in the roaster and serve straight from the buffet pans
• Restaurant Tricks at Home: Sous vide cooks steaks, chicken and eggs to an exact temperature every time
• Two-in-One Pot: Simmer soups in the pot, then flip the lid to grill vegetables or sandwiches on the stovetop
• A Bit of History: Deep-fried turkey is often credited to Cajun cooks in Louisiana and caught on across the country in the 1990s. Indoor electric fryers like this one came along to make it safer than a propane pot in the driveway
