Description :

A colorful stack of patchwork quilts in a mix of classic patterns. Some show their age, which makes them good for a cozy throw or for crafting into something new.

Details

Includes: 4 quilts
Patterns: Nine-patch blocks with purple and yellow sashing; trip-around-the-world style with an orange border; on-point checkerboard in red, blue and orange; large-block patchwork in navy, red and pink with a purple back; and a Dresden plate–style quilt in navy and pink with a pink polka-dot back
Measurements: Pink/blue Dresden plate–style, 66.75" x approx. 59.5"; purple, red and blue large-block, 70" x 62.5"; colorful patchwork, 81.25" x 57.5"; colorful trip-around-the-world with bright orange border, 70.5" x 96"
Condition: Used, with wrinkling, some fading, and spots or stains on some fronts and backs. Sold as-is.

Highlights

Style: Bright, scrappy, cheerful patchwork for beds, couches, picnics or the back of a chair
Ready for a second life: The worn spots don't matter much if you're a maker. The good sections can become pillows, tote bags, stockings, jackets or pet beds, so the patchwork gets used rather than stored away.
A Bit of History: Many of these patterns, including nine-patch, trip around the world and Dresden plate, were favorites in American quilting for generations, often pieced from leftover dress and shirt fabric.
