Description :

This YEI Rug was woven by Dorothy Nez of Grand Junction, Colorado.  Her and her husband, Ray, were well-known rug weavers from Kiabeto area of the Navajo Nation.  She often crafted this design with tall, slender people (holy people) centered on healing - not only physical, but emotional, spiritual and mental.  This rug reflects the spiritual connection to nature with the inclusion of corn (or plant) in the design.  More about Dorothy Nez.  This rug is 30" tall and 61" long.  It has been mounted on a wall since purchased in 2002.  It is genuine 100% wool and 100% authentic Native American.  Note owner's notes in pictures.  An authentic Navajo rug is known to increase by 20% each year which would value this rug by Dorothy Nez at potentially $37,000.
