Description :
Quartet of items from Tom Corbett’s Space Cadet Show of the 1950s:
Space Cadet Signal Siren flashlight by Usalite from Rockhill Productions.
Red plastic end with the reflector/bulb and tin body with a rocket &
spacemen fighting over a raygun. Colors are still nice and bright, but it could
use a good scrub to look even better. Please note that the lighting mechanism
doesn’t work when 2 “D” batteries are inserted – obviously something is not
connected. However, its’a great display piece even if it doesn’t light up.
Measures approx.. 7” L.
6 Tom Corbett Space Cadet figures: 5 spacemen and 1 alien; all different
poses and good condition in yellow plastic. Tallest is 2.25” H.
Space Cadet mini-puzzle from Warren Paper Projects of Lafayette, IN (model
#566). Over 70 pieces with a picture of
a boy in cadet costume accompanied by friends. This is taken from an original
illustration entitled “Assessing the Scene of the Accident” (there is supposedly a problem
with the pedal plane’s tire). In
original box with all pieces present. Space Cadet black leather kids’ belt. In ok vintage shape – leather is still
pliable, but the metal parts are rusty.
