Description :
HELLO EARTH – GREETINGS FROM ENDEAVOUR by Alfred M. Worden.
Hardcover dustjacket/plastic protector. Signed by Apollo 15 Astronaut/Author
Al Worden. 1974, Nash Publishing (Los Angeles CA). 80 pages. This book is a bit out of the ordinary not only because it was written by an astronaut, but because it is a book of poetry. The poems are spare and epitomize Worden's post-flight views on loss, hero-worship, solitude, and the triviality of most human worries. An interesting read. Most poems have opposite page with a photograph. Note – we have had no issues with any of this client’s signed
memorabilia in previous auctions; we believe these signatures are authentic given
the client’s connections/collecting habits. However, please be advised that we
have not had them officially authenticated by experts.
