Description :

Mayan Rain Dance Rattle & Greek Pottery
The Guatemalan rain, dance rattle is made of gourd set atop a wooden handle.  The gourd features hand carved petroglyphs found at Newspaper Rock in Arizona's Petrified Forest National Park.  The boulder contains hundreds of petroglyphs inscribed from about 1000 to 1300 A.D.

A skillfully, hand painted redware vase with handles from Greece. The shape of this vessel and the handle placement make it appealing and the painted designs are intricate.  The card accompanying the vase reads, "This is a small ceramic vessel that replicates the usual and small animal figurines found in the sanctuary of the Nymphe on the southern slope of the Acropolis."
