Description :
Trio of late 1950s/early 1960s movie posters dealing with unknown situations/space-themes. All measure 22" H x 28"W and are in good vintage condition with exceptions as noted. Please see corner photos for details on pinholes, etc. "Toward the Unknown" starring William Holden from Warner Brothers. 1965. Printed in a strange range of orange ink, the poster has yellowing around the edges. "Spaceflight IC-1" from 20th Century Fox. 1956. Printed in blues and black - a great study in how just two colors can be effective. Yellowing around edges and wear along edges as well as pinholes. "U.F.O" from United Artists. 1956. Printed in rich multiple colors, this poster looks very "period" in its color saturation. Yellowing and wear around edges. GIANT poster for "Toward the Unknown" - largest one we've ever seen - over 6' tall! Measures 75" H x 38" W.. Definitely been pre-loved, with some wear & tear/cellophane, but still stunning because of its size. Note that lower section was cut and then taped back on. Please see last photos for details on flaws.
