Description :

Gun Quartet - Hubley & Mattel kids’ cap guns in varying shape:

Davy Crockett Buffalo Gun from Hubley. This is a great collector cap gun from Hubley Corporation of Lancaster, PA, circa 1950s/1960s. It’s a Davy Crockett “signed” rifle. With a buffalo-engraved decoration above the trigger & “musket ball” storage for caps in the stock, it’s a wonderful trip down memory lane. Lots of detail – considered one of the better cap guns out there. Made of plastic and metal. Comes with original box that is in fair condition with one end cut away & a couple of holes. Gun not tested for operation. Measures 24.5” L.

Hard to find item – we did find one that was sold in 2014:

Hake's - "DAVY CROCKETT" BOXED HUBLEY CAP-SHOOTING RIFLE.

Mare’s Laig cap gun rifle. Plastic and metal with plastic belt holster. We think there was a plug in the end that is missing – see photos. Not tested. Measures 17” L.

Hubley Colt .45 cap gun. Heavy-weight in metal and plastic with the fine detail you expect from Hubley. Handle is cracked & missing bottom section – see photos. Not tested. Measures approx. 14” L.

Mattel Fanner 50 cap gun. Heavy metal. Plastic handle has gone missing, but appears to be intact other than that. Not tested. Measures approx. 9” L.
