Swift meat premiums from the late 1950s:

3 Swift’s Space Travel Guides – spinning disk with info on mileage of a chosen planet from earth, planet’s symbol, surface temperature, and revolution speed. Info on the sun below. Verso lists info on the planet in relation to Earth. Really cool little guides that were from Swift’s large packages of braised beef (as noted on verso).  Measure approx. 5" H x 4” W. All in good to excellent shape for their age.

3 different Swift Space Guides. These differ from the ones listed above in that they are were enclosed inside bacon/wiener packages and are smaller. The info is a bit more limited - each has a couple of the above noted elements on a small spinning disk. All are in excellent shape in their original unopened plastic. Measure approx. 4” H.

SPACE AGE BRAND FIREWORKS poster in red, white, and blue. In good shape except for some watermarks that barely show on the front – see last photo. Measures approx. 10” H x 25” W.

“Earl Bostick Plays Sweet Tunes of the Fantastic 50s” LP from King Records of Cincinnati, OH. Quite a variety of great classic tunes – from Unchained Melody to Love is a Many-Splendored thing, you can have a lovely step back in time. (We are not sure why the X-15 is on this album; the sidebar doesn’t really solve the mystery). A few small scratches, but nothing egregious noted on the record. The cover shows heavy wear with some splitting at the folds.

Giant jack in green. This baby is heavy – probably solid metal. Waste time figuring out what to do with it. Shows some wear from age on blunt ends – see 2nd to last photo.

Sudoku key chain from Kalan. New in original beat-up packaging.

Slider numbers – not sure what they are supposed to add up to, but figuring it out will keep you busy. Definitely much-loved previously.

Crossword slider. Take it off its original backer board (our client or his kids wrote the answer in on the sample to the right) and then you can puzzle out the solution to Fat Fox’s question. From Plastrix of Brooklyn.
