Description :

10 Vintage apothecary jars, likely produced by Whitall Tatum & Co.

Apothecary jars were historically used to store medicinal ingredients or drugs in pharmacies.

Whitall Tatum & Co. was a prominent manufacturer of glassware, including apothecary bottles, operating from the 19th to the 20th century.

The text visible on the jar in the image reads "POT. CHLORAS. CARD. CO.," which likely indicates the contents it once held, possibly potassium chlorate and cardamom compound.

The jar features a ground glass stopper to ensure an airtight seal.

These jars are now often collected as antiques or used for decorative

(unwashed, as the labels are fragile, and I just didn't want to be responsible for ruining them)
