Description :
Signed Studio Art Glass Vase, Possibly by Robert Held (Dated 1995)
A striking handblown studio art glass vase featuring radiant swirls of pink, violet, and amber with delicate white spiral threading throughout. The elegant ovoid form and bold color palette are reminiscent of Canadian glass artist Robert Held, whose work from the 1990s is highly regarded for its vibrant colorwork and refined craftsmanship.
The base is etched with a signature and the date "’95", consistent with Held’s signing style, though the attribution remains unconfirmed.
Dimensions: Approx. 11.5" tall x 6.5" wide
Material: Blown glass
Condition: light base wear from display. Signature visible, with slight museum glue residue around etched area.
Robert Held is widely collected for his masterful ability to blend classic Venetian techniques with contemporary aesthetics. His works are found in collections across North America and have been exhibited internationally. This vase represents a superb example of his mature style in the mid-1990s, ideal for collectors of studio glass or fine decorative arts.
