Description :
Pair of Framed Japanese Kabuki-Inspired Woodblock Prints – Signed & Stamped Dimensions (framed): 16" x 12.5" and 15.5" x 11" A visually striking pair of Japanese prints featuring elaborately dressed Kabuki or Noh theatre figures rendered in rich jewel tones and intricate textile patterns. Both works are marked with a red artist’s seal and signed “Otsuka” in English script, but the authenticity and full attribution have not been confirmed. Executed in the traditional style of Japanese woodblock or silkscreen prints, these works showcase strong attention to detail, layered textile motifs, and dramatic theatrical costumes set against minimalist backdrops—hallmarks of Japanese stage art and printmaking traditions. Each print is professionally framed behind glass in coordinating gold-tone frames with sawtooth hangers, ready to display. Condition: vintage condition. Minor wear to frame edges consistent with age.
Note: While the prints are signed and stamped, the artist and medium have not been officially authenticated.
