Founded in Roseville, Ohio in 1890, Roseville Pottery became one of the most prominent American art pottery companies of the early 20th century. Known for their sculpted floral patterns and soft matte glazes, Roseville pieces are highly regarded for their craftsmanship and organic beauty. The Freesia line, introduced around 1945, was one of their later and more stylized patterns before the company ceased production in 1954.
