Step back into the golden age of hi-fi with this pair of Sansui SP-200 loudspeakers, first introduced in 1966 as part of Sansui’s pioneering push into high-fidelity sound. These vintage speakers embody the craftsmanship and design ethos of mid-century Japan, blending precision engineering with a warm, immersive sound that captivated listeners worldwide.

Historical Significance

  • Released in June 1966.

  • Popular among U.S. servicemen stationed in Japan, many of whom brought them home, making the SP-200 a beloved vintage find today.

  • Designed to reproduce music so naturally that Sansui advertised listeners would “forget the speakers were there.”
