Description :

A dynamic bronze sculpture titled Trooper of the Plains, capturing a cavalry rider in full uniform astride a galloping horse. The rider grips the reins with determined posture as the horse surges forward, tail extended in motion. Mounted on a polished green marble base, the piece bears Remington’s inscribed signature.

This is a later reproduction honoring Remington’s celebrated depictions of frontier life and military subjects. It reflects the artist’s hallmark style—muscular movement, narrative realism, and reverence for the American West.

About the Maker: Frederic Sackrider Remington was a pioneering American artist renowned for his vivid portrayals of the Old West. Active in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, he worked across painting, illustration, and sculpture, capturing cowboys, cavalrymen, and Native American life with striking realism and motion. His bronze works, including The Broncho Buster, helped define Western American art and remain iconic representations of frontier spirit.
