Description :

A curated selection of seven vintage U.S. one-dollar silver certificates, spanning various sub-series from the 1935 issue. Each note features the iconic portrait of George Washington and the distinctive blue Treasury seal, denoting its status as a silver certificate—once redeemable for silver bullion under the U.S. monetary system.

Details & Highlights

  • Series Represented: Includes 1935A, 1935D, and 1935E variants

  • Seal Color: Blue Treasury seal with matching serial numbers

  • Condition: Circulated; notes exhibit varying degrees of wear, folds, and edge toning consistent with age

  • Signatures: Includes combinations such as Julian–Morgenthau and Priest–Anderson

  • Reverse Design: Classic green “ONE” motif with ornate border detailing

  • Dimensions: Standard U.S. currency size (approx. 6.14 x 2.61 inches)

Collector Notes These notes are prized for their historical significance and transitional design features. The 1935 series notably lacks the motto “In God We Trust,” which was added in later issues. Ideal for collectors seeking early 20th-century U.S. currency or building a foundational silver certificate set.
