Description :
A compact and historically rich group of six circulated U.S. coins spanning the late 19th to early 20th century, ideal for type set builders or silver stackers: Two Liberty Head Nickel Three-Cent Pieces (Copper-nickel alloy, 1865–1889 type): Both feature the Roman numeral III reverse. One example dated 1869, a lower-mintage year (approx. 1.6 million struck at Philadelphia). These coins were discontinued in 1889 and are increasingly scarce in circulation. Two Barber Dimes (90% silver): Dated 1906 and 1911-D (Denver Mint). The 1911-D is a desirable branch-mint issue with a mintage of just over 11 million. Designed by Charles E. Barber, these dimes are prized for their classic Liberty profile and historical context. Two Mercury Dimes (Winged Liberty Head, 90% silver): Dated 1941 and one worn example of similar vintage. Designed by Adolph A. Weinman, these dimes symbolize “liberty of thought” and are a staple of mid-20th-century U.S. coinage.
