This charming and rare vintage pottery set is a wonderful example of classic Torquay Motto Ware. Hand-painted with the iconic thatched-roof cottage design, this collection features a delightful array of pieces, making it a perfect addition for any collector of Devon-made pottery. Set includes: Large Teapot/Coffee Pot, Smaller Teapot, Butter Dish with lid and "CHEESE" motto, Milk Jug / Creamer, Sugar Bowl, Two Egg Cups, Small Miniature Jug. Maker: Attributed to the Torquay potteries, likely from the Watcombe or Aller Vale period, a prominent style of Devon pottery.
