Description :
This auction is for a unique lot of three vintage piggy banks, perfect for collectors of banks, Americana, or decorative items. Each bank has its own distinct character and history. 1. Vintage Metal Rocking Horse Bank: This charming silver-toned rocking horse piggy bank is a classic decorative piece for a nursery or collection. It features a slot on its back for coins and intricate details on the saddle and harness. The bank is made of a metal alloy, and its vintage condition adds to its character. 2. 1949 Dodge Inc. Cast Metal Piggy Bank: This is a notable vintage collectible, a heavy cast metal pig bank from Dodge Inc., dated 1949. The pig has a worn brass or gold-toned finish, giving it a rich, aged patina. This item is a sought-after piece for collectors of metal banks due to its specific maker and year. 3. Hand-Painted City Skyline Piggy Bank: This ceramic piggy bank is a colorful, hand-painted piece featuring a city skyline. The artwork includes buildings and a vibrant blue sky, making it a unique souvenir-style item or a fun, decorative bank. The design is reminiscent of tourist souvenirs from cities like Chicago or New York. All three items are in used, vintage condition and are sold together as a lot. Please see the photos for detailed condition.
