Description:
Striking pair of traditional African fly whisks featuring carved handles shaped as stylized human figures—one in bone, the other in resin. Each handle is topped with a yellow binding securing long, dark natural hair fibers that cascade in dramatic tassels. The figures are rendered with expressive detail, evoking ceremonial or symbolic significance. These whisks were traditionally used in rituals, dances, or as symbols of status and authority. A visually compelling duo ideal for display in ethnographic collections or cultural decor. Important Details: Material: One carved bone handle, one carved resin handle; natural hair; fiber binding
The handle on the right is resin. The handle on the left is bone
