Description :
Collection of late‑20th‑century studio pottery vessels in varied wheel‑thrown forms, showcasing the era’s emphasis on material expression and hand‑crafted individuality. Surfaces range from smooth, burnished finishes to tactile, hand‑textured exteriors. Glaze palettes include deep charcoal, warm chestnut, muted clay red, and natural stone hues—each piece reflecting the organic, earth‑driven aesthetic characteristic of small‑batch ceramic studios of the period. The black vase is signed AK ’91 on the underside, featuring a dark satin glaze and modernist profile. The brown lidded vessel carries a faint signature with ’94, finished in an iron‑rich, rustic glaze typical of the decade’s artisan work. Remaining vessels are unsigned but consistent with late‑20th‑century studio production. Pots range approximately 3 1/2"–8" tall and 3"–7" wide. A cohesive group for collectors of regional studio ceramics and lovers of warm, earthy, material‑forward design.
