Handmade ceramic bowl by Pacific Northwest potter Gerald Gedekes, featuring a striking multicolor glaze with layered surface effects and organic visual depth. The underside is signed “Gedekes” and dated 1997.

A strong example of Gedekes’ expressive glazing style and sculptural studio‑crafted form.

Artist Bio: Gerald Gedekes is a Bellingham‑based studio potter known for his textured stoneware forms and richly developed glaze surfaces inspired by regional landscapes. Working in small batches, he produces individually crafted pieces that are valued among collectors of Pacific Northwest ceramics.

A distinctive, signed work from the late 1990s.
