Description :
A curated grouping of three framed works uniting architectural art, early music notation, and classical storytelling. Each piece is individually framed and presents a distinct facet of European artistic and musical tradition. The first work is an original watercolor study of a European courtyard, titled in the artist’s hand beneath the image. The scene captures the intimate character of an interior hof with balconies, windows, and a central tree. Framed size approximately 11.5 x 14.5 inches. The second work is a framed leaf of Latin liturgical chant featuring square‑note neumes on a four‑line staff. The visible side bears the heading Secundum Joannemwith a passage from the Gospel of John set for chant. The reverse side contains an additional page of chant text and notation, preserved within the frame. Framed size approximately 13 x 17 inches. The third work is an illustrated sheet of music titled Old Chiron’s Advice to Achilles, pairing a pastoral mythological vignette with early printed musical notation and lyrical text. Framed size approximately 11.5 x 13.5 inches. Together, these three framed pieces form a cohesive collection of historical art and music, ideal for collectors of early printed material, chant notation, or decorative works with cultural and narrative depth. Condition: All pieces present well with age‑appropriate wear to frames and mats. Artwork, printed text, and musical notation remain clear and legible. The chant leaf includes content on both recto and verso.
