Description :

3 beautiful antique Indonesian shadow puppets. These are very old but in amazing condition - both sides are richly colored and all limbs are intact. We especially love the green skin tone of the one puppet and all the hands are exquisite! While the puppets are still functional as they are now, we would preserve them and put them under glass in a frame if they were ours! The hands on the yellow one are the most worn - otherwise beautiful examples of this artform.

The vintage carved male/female doll is really interesting - we believe it is a Chinese fertility temple doll. The articulated arms & legs allow you to rotate/switch them from the male to the female side - each side has anatomically correct genitalia & the female side has breasts. This is a particularly nice example of the genre; the lines are lovely and not crudely done like you see in many examples. We love this doll! Measures approximately 17" H.

Invoices are emailed to winning bidders once the sale has completely closed.Full payment must be made by 8:00 p.m. the day after auction closes. If total payment is not received before the pick-up date & time, items will be forfeited, and bidding privileges revoked.

Pick-up information will be on the invoice e-mailed after the auction closes.All items not picked up during the designated times will be considered abandoned and may be donated or resold. When possible, and at our sole discretion, an alternate pick-up time may be arranged. If this is possible, an appropriate fee will be charged.

A 12% Buyer's Premium and Sales Tax are added to the winning bid amount when invoiced. Sales tax is waived for licensed re-sellers.
