2 groups of artist-made books for a total of 10 books in all. We believe all were done by our client although there are no artist signatures. She certainly had a sense of humor and a love of color. Several of these are laugh-out-loud!

The first grouping has large and small books:

"The Lies Book" features Pinocchio on the cover and very familiar phrases/excuses for lying within the pages. It is also hand-collaged. Painted black wooden cover. Measures 12" H x 12.5" W.

"The Alphabet Book" features a cat and a dog - the age-old rivalry. Each page is collaged by hand and the book is bound with a Plexi-glass cover. Measures 14.5" H x 12.5" W.

2 smaller collage books are fun to look at for their design - both have ruler binding and focus on themes of lettering and wine, respectively. Please note that the wine book has gotten warm at some point, so some of the wax seals have melted/gotten sticky. They measure approx. 6" H x 6" W.

The second grouping is all smaller books:

- "Bird" book is in full color with phrases related to birds.

- "Lies" book is a smaller version of the lies book in the previous group. It has a black wooden cover with a Pinocchio nose.

- "MMMN" book feels almost like a blissful travel brochure with lovely color.

- "My Name is Barbara" book imitates recipe/index cards with familiar phrases from the "who am I" projects we all did in elementary school.

- Gold book is random collaged imagery.

- The "Postal" birds are simply fun to look at.

All books are fairly small measuring in the neighborhood of 5" x 6".

PAYMENT DETAILS

Placing a bid is an agreement to purchase. If you win, you must pick up your item(s). If you default on your purchase, your bidding privileges will be revoked permanently. Do not bid if you do not plan to purchase.If you bid, you MUST be available/arrange for pick-up of purchases on the pick-up date unless you have made prior shipping arrangements. Bring necessary tools and help for picking up large items. Loading assistance is NOT available. Some items may be located on a 2nd floor, out building.

Invoices are emailed to winning bidders once the sale has completely closed.Full payment must be made by 8:00 p.m. the day after auction closes. If total payment is not received before the pick-up date & time, items will be forfeited, and bidding privileges revoked.

Pick-up information will be on the invoice e-mailed after the auction closes.All items not picked up during the designated times will be considered abandoned and may be donated or resold. When possible, and at our sole discretion, an alternate pick-up time may be arranged. If this is possible, an appropriate fee will be charged.

A 12% Buyer's Premium and Sales Tax are added to the winning bid amount when invoiced. Sales tax is waived for licensed re-sellers.

We make every effort to describe lot items as accurately as possible. Expect normal signs of wear associated with antiques, vintage, and used items. We do not list every flaw. All items are sold AS IS WHERE IS. No refunds or returns. Sound Estate Company does not guarantee the working order of any clock, watch, electronic or mechanical device.
