Description :

An exceptional, investment-grade one-of-a-kind custom art dagger by the legendary master custom knifemaker R.B. Johnson. Displaying a flawless marriage of precise geometric machining and organic materials, this imposing presentation piece measures 14.5 inches in overall length and features an immaculate mirror finish alongside meticulously executed custom engravings.

Engraved by the maker as "~ 1 of 1 ~," this represents a pinnacle showcase of sole-authorship mid-90s American custom knifemaking.

The centerpiece is a beautifully symmetrical, double-edged dagger blade forged from premium 440C high-chromium stainless steel—the historical benchmark alloy celebrated for its extreme durability and brilliant, glassy mirror-polish capabilities. A prominent medial ridge runs perfectly centered down the length of the blade, culminating in an incredibly sharp, needle-like point. The lower ricasso area is neatly stamped with the steel designation: SS 440C.The blade flat features the master artisan's elegant hand-engraved signature,

Hilt, Grip & Finial Architecture

The Guard: A heavy, mirror-polished stainless steel crossguard anchored cleanly against the ricasso, showing flawless seamless fitment.

The Handle: An elegantly contoured and subtly fluted (longitudinally grooved) hand-shaped grip. The handle material showcases a rich, cream-toned patina with subtle natural grain character, consistent with premium aged ivory, bone, or fossilized mammoth material. It is neatly offset by crisp dark accent spacers at the shoulders.

The Pommel: A stunning, precision-machined hexagonal (6-sided) faceted pommel that tapers elegantly into a sharp central terminal point. The impeccable mirror-polishing across all six facets creates a brilliant reflective interplay with light.
