Description :

Large Etchware pot or vase signed by Ramona Silas. Three animals are painted on, the bear symbolizes strength, courage and wisdom. The deer symbolizes gentleness, sensitivity, and grace. The last animal painted is the moose which symbolizes spiritual power such as strength, endurance and wisdom. There are more symbols to learn about. The smaller rainbow horsehair pot has symbols of mountains, rivers and more. Horsehair pottery is unique in that no two pieces ever look the same. After the pot is shaped, horsehair is laid on the hot clay and burns into the clay leaving it's design.  Navajo Rainbow Horsehair pot, signed ATVT NAT.
