Description :

  • Jemez Pueblo Wedding Pot signed by J. Baca. The designs on this wedding vase denote well wishes for the wedding couple.  The skyline, feathers, movement symbols, arcs, steps & triangles are all represented on this vase that would then be given to the couple as part of their wedding ceremony. Each spout of a wedding vase represents 1/2 of each person who are then connected by the handle (symbolizing unity).
  • Purchased from Notah Dineh Trading Company, this etchware pot is signed by Mitchell Blackhorse, Navajo, and depicts deities, bear symbols, thunder & rain.  It is light in color with a dark contrast which is often seen in Navajo artistry. 

Wedding vase measures at 6" H x 3.5" approx. diameter.
