Description :

Ever wonder why European kids look so much more stylish that their American counterparts? Because many Europeans sew custom clothing for their young ones. Find out how great European patterns are in fit and style by checking out these patterns/ pattern magazines (pattern magazines are the norm there and usually have all designs shown in the publication on multi-size traceable pattern sheets in the magazine center section).

SUE & BLU Pattern Magazines for Kids (mostly girls’ patterns). From The Netherlands – designs are very reminiscent of high-end retail brand Jottum from Amsterdam.  2 issues with over 20+ designs in total. Girls sizes 80 – 164 (US ages 12 months to about 12). Note that not all patterns come in all sizes, with most of them falling in the mid-range of 104 – 128.

Multi-size folded pattern sheets in different colors to make tracing easier. Tracing allows you to use favorite patterns over and over as kids grow.  Patterns in Dutch and German with directions in German*. Really beautiful finished pieces for special occasions when done in luxury fabrics.

3 ROOS Girls’ sewing patterns – funky lagenlook styles for the younger set from The Netherlands. Patterns include all sizes between 128 – 164 in each pattern. Patterns in Dutch and German with directions in Dutch and German*.

#2075A – Cross-front tunic,shirt, and cropped wide-leg pants with variations

#2056A – Surplice front/strap back over-tunic, shirt, and wide-leg pants with variations

#4004A – surplice tie-wrap jacket, top, and skirt with variations

*Note that this lot of patterns would be best suited to an intermediate or more experienced sewist due to the lack of any English and illustrations for assembly; written directions only in Dutch & German. However, according to client (who only speaks English) if you know basic assembly order, they are worth the extra time to translate/work through as the finished products are exquisite.
