Description :
Sexy is....in the eye of the beholder we've been told, and these posters prove it! Two vintage Mexican movie lobby placards and a sports poster. Mujeres Prehistoricas (Prehistoric Women) from 1950. In good shape with a few discolorations/water stains - but they don't dilute the specter of all those cavewomen running toward you! The placard notes that there are savage struggles, primitive passions, and deadly jealousy amongst these women. Measures 12.75" H x 16.5" W framed. Noches de Bagdad (Siren of Bagdad) from 1953. In very good shape, especially given that it's over 70 years old! The leading man, a magician, focuses on saving slave girls and, we suspect, enjoying their gratitude. However, with Hans Conried in the cast, you know it's gonna be pretty funny, too! Measures 13" H x 16.75" W framed. Marshall Holman in an original Nike "Alley Cat" poster. Obviously, Marshall is a bowler and he's catting about the alley making short work of the pins. We especially like the bowling ball under his Nike-clad foot that is a lit bomb straight out of Tom & Jerry. This is an extremely hard poster to find nowadays. Note there are pinholes in the corners - see last photo.
