Ever wonder why European kids look so much more stylish that their American counterparts? Because many Europeans sew custom clothing for their young ones. Find out how great European patterns are in fit and style by checking out these patterns and/or pattern magazines (pattern magazines are the norm there and usually have all designs shown in the publication on multi-size traceable pattern sheets in the magazine center section).

BIZZKIDS pattern magazines – 6 in all.  Great timeless design from this Dutch pattern company. They were known for their coordinating shoes & wild fabrics – sometimes their fabric lines were used by Oilily in their commercial production lines. Lots of designs in each issue with multi-size folded pattern sheets in different colors to make tracing easier. Sizes range from 62 – 172 (US size equivalent 6 months to age 14). Note that not all patterns come in all sizes. Patterns are for both boys and girls and 3 of the later issues have some women’s patterns (FIMI) also. Directions in German & Dutch*.

3 Bizzkids/FIMI combo magazines. Directions in English, German, Dutch, and French. (Note, that one 1 of the magazines does NOT have English directions in it). About 15+ designs in each magazine (over 45 total). These are the smaller format magazines in the front of the lead picture.

3 Bizzkids Europe magazines. Directions in German & Dutch*. Approx. 35+ designs in each magazine (over 90 total). Note that some of these have “kid” scribbling on the style booklets and the covers are a bit worn, but the patterns themselves are clean.

*While most of this set of magazines are not in English, if you have intermediate sewing skills and know general assembly order, you will have no problem using these once you get used to the tracing sheets. Client only spoke English and was able to use these patterns.
