Description :

commemorative coins of the US manned Gemini missions*. Double-sided coins; front has logo/picture with mission name &
astronauts while verso has the calendar date of the mission and its primary
purpose. Includes coins for Gemini 3 (2 copies), 4, 5 (2 copies), 6, 7 (2
copies), 8, 10 (2 copies), 11 (2 copies), & 12. The coins are just slightly
larger across than a quarter. Commemorative vintage Apollo 11 moon coin necklace from Tortolani. Front is a map of the moon landing
area with various features named (Sea of Tranquility, Sea of Storms, etc.)
while the reverse is engraved with “Apollo 11 – July 20, 1969” Measures 2.75” W
on a 36” long chain. *we think these are from the Man in Space series by Glendinning - 1969.
