Description :
Beautifully executed limited edition print of A. Scott Crossfield's 1953 NACA 144 flight that first reached Mach 2 by artist Mike Machat (original painting done in 1987). This print is full-color with highly saturated hues. Printed on quality paper and inscribed at the bottom border. This is #21 in an edition of 1000 recorded in pencil on the lower right along with artist Mike Machat's signature. On the lower left is the signature of A. Scott Crossfield (1921 - 2006) in pencil. In the lower middle is the printed title “Everything She's Got". Comes with certificate of authenticity that gives great detail on the flight and the program. The artist, Mike Machat, is a former USAF pilot, author, and artist with work spanning numerous decades. His works are in many institutions including the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum. Print paper measures 20.75” H x 33.5" W. Printed area measures just over 16.5" H x shy 29.5” W. Unframed. Note - there is a VERY slight area on the upper left that appears to be a rub of some kind - we did not notice it until starting to do closeups - it doesn't affect the overall quality of the image in any way, but we wanted to mention it - see last photo.
